DELCO FOR LIBERTY MEMBER ELECTED TO ATTEND THE REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION

I'd like to congratulate Rick Lacey of Springfield on his successful campaign for election as an alternate delegate to the Republican National Convention. While the post to which he was elected is only mildly influential, what Rick overcame and how he conducted himself should be held as a shining example for Delaware County to see.

Leading up to the election, Rick was on the receiving end of a malicious and concerted effort, spearheaded by members of the Delaware County GOP, to defeat him at all costs. This effort included a vicious attack ad in the Springfield Press and a frivolous, politically motivated lawsuit aimed at Rick and the other independent Republican candidates.
